BEIJING, Aug. 8 – Beijing E-Town officially launched “Robotics World 2.0” today. Compared with its 1.0 version, the upgraded complex introduces two new consumer attractions — the world’s first embodied intelligent robot 4S store and a robot-themed restaurant “Robot Flame Lab.” These core facilities will work alongside over 300 leading robotics companies in the area, including Unitree Robotics, Xinghaitu, UBTECH Beijing, and Yaskawa Shougang, to build a global robotics ecosystem integrating exhibition, trade, application, and experience.
At the 2025 World Robot Conference, held on the same day, the China Institute of Electronics announced the 10 most promising application scenarios for humanoid robots, spanning general industrial operations, automotive manufacturing, 3C product manufacturing, shipbuilding, petrochemical production inspection, power generation, emergency response, commercial services, home services, and agricultural production. These scenarios are expected to accelerate industry adoption as humanoid technologies and product iterations advance.
The conference brings together more than 300 robotics companies from around the world, showcasing over 1,500 exhibits. Visitors can watch humanoid robots spar in a boxing ring, play soccer with them on the field, or enjoy performances such as robots playing the piano, writing calligraphy, and making coffee or ice cream — offering an immersive glimpse into future lifestyles.
